We looked at what worked and what didn’t work on other directories and developed a “Local Area” focused site, with “no third party advertisements”, making it easy for customers to search and letting businesses choose where they feature. Our focus is to give you and your customers a positive experience. You receive calls direct from customers, giving you the choice to choose if you want to quote or do the job.
Your business pays (by invoice if you prefer) a cost-effective “Flat Fee”, either monthly or annually for a subscription, there are no sneaky fees, you pay as you go, giving you control and there are “no roll over contracts”! We offer a free trial to businesses and send out an invoice prior to the end of the trial, if you want to continue please pay the invoice, if Prepare My Property is not for you please disregard the invoice and your Business Profile will be removed from the site at the end of the free trial.

Your Local Area is your primary place of work. The physical address if you have a business premises available to the public. If you are a mobile business you can either choose your personal Local Area (your personal address is not displayed) or you can choose your main area of work, the area you spend the most time.
Every business has a preferred working area, please only select the areas you are willing to travel to. Please also consider the cost of travel, with rising fuel costs it’s a good time to minimise your travel time. Selecting your preferred areas reduces the calls from customers from areas you don’t service.
Your Business profile will be listed at the top of the page in your Local Area with other “Local Area” businesses. Any businesses that have a different Local Area will be listed below you. If there is another Local Business in your “Local Area” you will be positioned in recommendation order, that’s why it’s important to use your QR Code and get recommendations!
Yes, you can change your local area. This helps if you move residence or find you’re working more in another area. Please use the Area Update Form
Yes, you can change your business area at any time, please use the Area Update Form.
Subscriptions are based on the areas you service, if you are a shop front in a small community or a Sole Trader only working in your immediate area then the “Just Local” subscription is probably all you need. The only difference in the subscriptions is the amount of areas so we advise you choose either the “Expand or Region” subscription for the Free Trial, this is a great way find the right areas for your business. You can send us an Update Area Form at any time.
No, please complete the New Business Submission Form or Contact Us and we can help set up your Business Profile for you. We will send you an invoice prior to the end of your trial, if you are happy to continue being part of the # local and Prepare My Property network, please pay the invoice and we will send out your next invoice when your next renewal is due.
Yes you can. You can set up your account via the Subscription Page with your credit card for instant access or if you prefer to pay by invoice, we can transfer your account once your business profile is out of the free trial period.
No! The monthly subscription is “Month to Month”. This is great for seasonal businesses or for businesses who are just starting out. You can place your Monthly Subscription on hold at any time.
No, we see setting up your Business profile as getting to know your business.
No there are no extra fees, all you pay is the subscription fee either monthly or annually and that’s it.
As soon as there is a change. It is really important to keep your information up to date, please use the Update Business Information Form and we can make the changes for you.

A QR Code is available for every business listed. This can be shared with customers to find out more information about your business and given to existing customers to scan and leave you a recommendation. Contact Us for more information.
Consumers are more likely to engage with your business is you are recommended by previous customers, that’s why is important to ask your customers to leave you a recommendation. If you are listed in an Area that is not your Local one, your listing will be amongst other non-local business in recommendation order.
